Note: This is for Heatblur's F-14 for the PC version of MSFS2020 only.

With all current releases of Heatblur's F-14 for MSFS2020 (as of verson 1.08, Hotfix 1), jet engine shutdown sounds are borked in that it takes far too long for the turbines to spool down (sound-wise).  Even after the engines have stopped and the aircraft reverts to a cold and dark situation, the jet whine and combustion sounds unrealistically continue to be heard when they should not be.

A simple sound.xml mod is all that is needed to fix this.  The tweaked .xml files in this download will facilitate the engine sounds stopping as the engine themselves stop, which is correct.  :)

To install:

1) Backup the original sound.xml files in both your Heatblur F-14A and F-14B /sound directories (located in your MSFS Community Folder).

2) Copy the sound.xml file from the F-14A directory in this download into the Heatlbur F-14A /sound directory in your MSFS installation

3) Copy the sound.xml file from the F-14B directory in this download into the Heatblur F-14B /sound directory in your MSFS installation

4) Enjoy!

If you hate this little mod, simply restore your original sound.xml files into their respective Heatblur F-14A and F-14B /sound directories on your computer's installation.
