Base Aérea nº5 - Monte Real - LPMR
História
A base foi inaugurada em 4 de Outubro de 1959, sendo na altura equipada com aviões de caça F-86F Sabre. A base foi desde sempre destinada a defesa aérea, tendo sido construída num local central do território Continental Português, de modo a permitir a intervenção rápida dos seus caças em qualquer ponto do território.
A 1 de Outubro de 2012 foi feita Membro-Honorário da Ordem Militar de Cristo.[1]
Foram operados pela Base os seguintes meios aéreos:
1959 - F-86F Sabre
1966 - Fiat G.91
1974 - T-33 (para instrução)
1977 - T-38 (para instrução)
1981 - A-7P Corsair II
1994 - F-16A/B Fighting Falcon (OCU)
2003 - F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon (MLU)
Meios Aéreos actuais
A Esquadra 201 - Os Falcões -, opera as aeronaves F-16A/B Fighting Falcon estando-lhe atribuída como principal missão as operações de luta aérea defensiva.
Como missões secundárias executa operações de apoio aéreo ofensivo e interdição aérea. Desde Novembro de 2005 a Esquadra 301 "Jaguares" foi transferida da Base Aérea de Beja para Monte Real, passando a operar os F-16A/B MLU.
A Esquadra 301 - "Jaguares" - opera as aeronaves F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon, tendo como principal missão as operações de luta aérea defensiva/ofensiva e de anti-superfície.
A construção:
Este cenário contem vários edifícios e elementos originais que foram construídos por mim. É um upgrade ao Cenario de LPMR que constriu para o P3D.
Sendo um cenário de uma base militar/Nato, sendo o seu acesso restrito, foi construída através de pesquisa pela NET e recurso ao Google Maps Pro.

The Story
The base was inaugurated on October 4, 1959, and was then equipped with F-86F Sabre fighter aircraft. The base has always been intended for air defence, having been built in a central location of the Continental Portuguese territory, in order to allow the rapid intervention of its fighters anywhere in the territory.
On October 1, 2012, he was made an Honorary Member of the Military Order of Christ. [1]

Current Air Media
Squadron 201 - The Falcons -, operates the F-16A/B Fighting Falcon aircraft and is assigned as the main mission the defensive air combat operations.
As secondary missions perform offensive air support operations and air interdiction. Since November 2005 The Squadron 301 "Jaguares" was transferred from Beja Air Base to Monte Real, going on to operate the F-16A / B MLU.
Squadron 301 - "Jaguares" - operates the F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon aircraft, having as main mission the operations of defensive/offensive and anti-surface air combat.
Construction:
This scenario contains several original buildings and elements that were built by me. It's an upgrade to the LPMR Scenario you built for P3D.
Being a scenario of a military/NATO base, with its access restricted, it was built through NET research and use of Google Maps Pro.
