This is a repaint for the excellent FlyingIron Simulations Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6. The repaint depicts Bf 109Ga-6 316 (built by IAR Brașov) of the Romanian Royal Air Force (Forțele Aeriene Regale Române—FARR) as flown by Lt. Av. Tudor ‘Dido’ Greceanu of the 7/9 Fighter Group (Grupul 7/9 Vânătoare) during the spring of 1945.
Regarding Lt. Av. Tudor ‘Dido’ Greceanu (born May 13, 1917), he was one of the top five Romanian aces of WW2 who received the highest military & aviation medals, had over 6000 flight hours during the war, completed about 960 combat sorties, and is credited with either 18 or 24 aerial victories (couldn’t find a reliable source for the final number or victories).

- Colors matching to the original wartime Romanian colors (based on Luftwaffe colors): RLM 70 (propeller), RLM 74 (camouflage), RLM 75 (camouflage), RLM 76 (over all base color and underbelly).
