Just make a World Tour and fly every day a new route with amazing places and things to see !
Here is a flightplan for an almost complete worldtour over more than 160 countries and tons of wonderful landscapes.
It took me 2 years and 1 month to finish this... Will you have as much fun I had to fly almost 100000Nm, 1000hours and land at more than 1200 airports over 400days ? :)

World Tour meant/calculated for Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 (any plane of same category will do) :

Pack includes :
- 407 legs with an average flight time of 2-3 hours
- 1 .ods file (libreoffice calc or excel) "WorldTour-Complete-file.ods" showing all flightplans and useful info (FP, stats, links to mods…)
- 407 pics and separated flightplans (.pln) to load in any flightplanning app and ingame for each individual leg

Just download the folder anywhere on your pc, no need for community folder.

Feel free to adapt the files and flightplans to your liking.

Just want to let you know that legs 233 and 234 in the spread sheet and legs 233 and 234 in the flightplan data are switched.

So Leg 233 in the spread sheet corresponds to the Leg 234 file, and Leg 234 in the spreadsheet corresponds to the Leg 233 file.

Crikey WADJ is just a goat track hidden among heavy trees, impossible to land unless you are an absolute GOD in the pilot seat. After three attempts and not even getting close I had to go around and divert to WAYB, which even though is asphalt is also damn short. What a challenge!

Hahaha, yes Papua is a hell for pilots! ^^ Keep awaiting some other challenging airstrips lost in the middle of nowhere, hidden little grassy ones, some that look like a simple field, in the middle of a forest, on top of a ridge... People flying with me often said "is this the runway??? - who made this flightplan??? - once again, could you not choose the big one just 1 mile further??!" Someday you'll go back there, and do it, I know already. ;) ps : I admit I had my fair share of crashes on the way. But always forced myself to land or take off in the end, no matter what. My worst take off took me 4 attempts, and I had to ditch the passengers to be light enough. A lot of (fun) experience aquired on the way. Keep it up, and have fun! ;)

I've begun this trip in a Pilatus PC21 (leg 11 now) and it is a great pleasure to 1- prepare the leg (try to have some scenes and destination airports) and 2- fly the leg. As somebody says I take the liberty to change some arrivals for different reasons - the airport does no longer exist or another one, nearby, has been modelled and is nicer to land.
1200 airports landed, do you mean that, in your legs, you touch and go each airport which is a checkpoint ?

Glad you enjoy it and make your changes to appreciate it even more ^^ Yes we landed at ALL the airports that are inbetween, just for the fun and practice. Adds some adventure, because some are really challenging. But oc, this is up to you too. Have fun!

Do you know what is the longest leg between airports is?

Most legs are +-2h calculated flight time (for C172, 110kn) without counting the airports touch and gos between start to finish. Most have an average distance of 250Nm, ranging from +-200 to 382Nm. Two longest legs are leg 19 in Nigeria (374Nm) and leg 244 in alaska (382Nm)

Yes, because those were mostly out of reach for a C172, or "forced" me to come back on my tracks once visited or had me cross water for hours (not as interesting). My main aim was to visit as many capitals possible, and to not "favorise" any country by passing twice on same tracks again. Also Algeria is missing sadly for the same reason. My friendly sorry to all those beautiful countries ^^ I just finished a Madagascar Tour to make up for it, and 2 years ago made a 12hour trip across N-Z :)

Noted, thanks! Keep on reporting any problems, there probably will be some more as time "flew" by since I started it. I will then make the necessary changes for the future. Glad you enjoy it ^^

Would have loved to have it for that trip indeed! Next project is a tour of all 50 States of USA (Hawaii separated oc) in the Comanche. Will start on sep 1st, published when finished.
