4K textures (reg.number D-IHDD) for the model of Messerschmitt Bf-108 "Taifun" done by iniBuilds for MSFS. This airplane (D-IHDD) was used in the Isle of Man Air Race 1937. The two entries were to be flown by Major Seidemann and Herr Ernst Gerbrecht who were to put German's prowess in civil and military aviation to the test in their first race in Great Britain. British air racing prizes was the Isle of Man Air Race Challenge Trophy, which was offered each year for a handicap race from London to the Douglas airport at Ronaldsway. Inaugurated in 1936, and open to competitors of all nations, the race for this trophy has already become one of the most popular sporting air events of the year and, because of its international character, may have become the most important air race in Great Britain of his time. The skin has few improvements as well like: historical markings, redefining colors, more weathering effects, stickers. Model has a few limitation so I adjusted the repaint to the requirements of the model. ⛔ Btw. The presentation of historical markings is only informative and consistent with historical sources (like all models or historical photos), it's of course not intended to propagation any ideology. Regards!
Have you seen the movie the great escape with Steve McQueen? There was one used in the movie. Can you do a livery for that?

Fantastic repaint! Would a version without the explicit swastika be possible? I am in Germany and would feel better without it.

That box art almost fooled me, thought for sure it was an actual old Matchbox thing for a minute.

Great painting but what makes you think that planes must be so terribly dirty?

hasn't been cleaned in months ;>, btw. in those times planes were operated mostly at field airports, not elegant ones with asphalt :) Thanks!
