Logan-Cache Airport is an airport in the western United States in Cache County, Utah, located three miles (5 km) northwest of Logan. It is owned under the Logan-Cache Airport Authority, formed by Inter-local Agreement between Cache County and Logan City in 1992. This organization is subsidized by the city and county, having no authority to tax or bond for additional funding. Revenues are derived from leases of land, buildings, fuel and maintenance fees. The airport was previously owned by Cache County and managed by county commissioners.
The default airport in MSFS was just runways, taxiways, and a gravel parking lot. I decided to update it with proper buildings, towers, parking spots, taxiways, runway lights and overall appearance using default scenery. I even went through and added lights to make the airport better to see at night. I've added additional scenery around the airport to make it seem more alive.
Any comments on errors that need to be fixed or improvements that can be made are greatly aprreciated.
I plan on doing many more airports throughout the Utah area.

Great work! This is my home town airport, and it looks great! Much, much better than default.

Nice work, this one.

Nice job creating an airport basically from scratch. It works well in VR with no substantial FPS hit like some other sceneries.
Thanks a lot for doing this one it's much appreciated!

Very nice job filling out the assets of this lovely airfield! Considering that NOTHING at all was there in the default version, this clearly took a lot of time and effort to bring to fruition. Lots of airport miscellany and clutter add greatly to the realism, and the lighting adds a warm welcome to night-time arrivals. Thanks for this effort and the Brigham City airfield released previously.
The only thing I noticed was the windsock flanking the main runway blows in the opposite direction to the wind, but the rooftop mounted one (just south of the tower) blows correctly. They appear to be the same model, so not sure why this occurs. Everything else is fabulous. It’s really nice to have Logan this fleshed out!

Thanks Ed for the compliment. Yes it did take some time to make but I found it very enjoyable and rewarding by giving back something to the community.
I will take a look at that windsock issue and address it if needed as well as some other little things I found that needs fixing.
Keep having fun flying!
