SVPC - Puerto Cabello Gen. Bartolome Salom (Detailed Airport Improvement)
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Puerto Cabello's General Bartolome Salom Airport (ICAO: SVPC) is located approx. 4 miles west from the city of Puerto Cabello in Carabobo State, Venezuela. It has been recently remodeled, but still lacks of any important commercial activity. It has a military area located to its western side.
It has one runway designated 11/29 with an asphalt surface measuring 6,970 ft (2,125 m).
THE AIRPORT IN MSFS:
This is a detailed improvement or enhancement of the default MSFS Puerto Cabello Airport mostly using default Asobo/MS assets, plus several external object libraries (see "Dependencies and Credits" below) and 3D models taken from 3D Warehouse/SketchUp either for the airport itself and for some landmarks of the Puerto Cabello area (Vopak Venezuela S.A., an industrial site for the storage of chemical products).
NAVAIDS:
There's a VOR/DME Station located within the perimeter of the airport (identifier: PBL), with a frequency of 117.70 MHz, near RWY11 and visible to the left side of the runway when landing. The Airport Diagram and the Instrument Approach Chart for the VOR/DME approach into RWY11 are included.
INSTALLATION:
Simply unzip the downloaded file, extract the scenery main directory ("edpatino-puerto-cabello-svpc") and put in manually in your Community Folder. You'll find a Documentation sub-folder with the Charts available for this airport. Please read carefully the following section about dependencies.
DEPENDENCIES AND CREDITS (READ CAREFULLY):
I would like to thank all those 3D artists that offer their work for free at 3D Warehouse. One of these models is being used in the scenery (hangar in the eastern side of the airport, with a red door open).
Several library packs were used for the design of this scenery, and I'm very thankful to their creators for their excellent work with the libraries:

https://flightsim.to/file/17182/totof-aircraft-library-v1-1 - Static aircraft collection (v4)
https://flightsim.to/file/17983/totof-helicopter-library-v1 - Static helicopters collection (v2)
https://flightsim.to/file/17179/totof-library-object-v1-1 - Totof Library Objects (v5)
https://flightsim.to/file/18392/vintage-aircraft-collector-library-v-1-0 (v2)
I would also like to thank @Windhover for its wonderful set of open hangars. One of them was used for this airport. You don't need to download any of them, as you would do with any other dependencies, because they're library models that are already included in the scenery: (https://flightsim.to/file/26325/open-hangar-library).
This scenery requires you have installed some previous World Updates (please check in your Content Manager):
(1) Japan World Update (particularly Hachijojima RJTH, Nagasaki RJFU airports)
(2) USA World Update (particularly Friday Harbor Airport KFHR)
(3) UK World Update (particularly Liverpool EGGP, Barra EGPR and Land's End EGHC airports)
(4) It's strongly recommended to install the UK2000 Common Library, which can be downloaded and installed for free from the Marketplace.
Since Puerto Cabello is located very close to El Palito Refinery and Planta Centro Power Generation Plant, it's strongly recommended to download those landmarks, with excellent views of the area, mainly for VFR flights, from here:
https://flightsim.to/file/18267/venezuelan-landmark-el-palito-refinery
Last, but not least, it's recommended to install the Global AI Ship Traffic package, to watch the so many very nice ocean liners and big petroleum tankers waiting in the coast, and the AIG Traffic package to be able to see the Laser Airlines (local airline) MD-82 parked in the apron. If you don't have the AIG Traffic package installed, no problem, but the MD-82 will not be shown. The Global AI Ship Traffic package can be downloaded from here:
https://flightsim.to/file/9529/global-ai-ship-traffic-msfs-v1 (in fact, it's v2)
In case of further questions, please read the FAQ.
Hope you all download and enjoy the Puerto Cabello airport as much as we do!.
PD: If someone is interested in helping to further improve this airport, with the addition of custom 3D models, local static aircraft (commercial or general aviation), etc., please PM me.
