Bacon Strip Ranch, CA
Bacon Strip Ranch is an extreme desert bush strip in the Mojave Desert of California, east of Barstow, about halfway between Baker and Ludlow. The runway is nothing more than a worn section of desert ground. There are a couple of huts in the fenced in area where pilots park their planes.
YouTube videos of the area
- This airport exists in real life but is new to MSFS and uses KBSR
- The runway is slightly highlighted to be visible from the air
- Partially fenced in area is where you should head after landing
- Faint lighting of the area might entice you to this area if you dare to land at night - it's really not a good idea!
Version 1.1
Removed the AirportServices module which globally affects airport services. Will revisit this issue in the future.
Version 1.0

FYI, this addon is causing ground services to be removed and not appear in any other airports. Since Sim Update 8 (as I heard), the game does not particularly like if you use AirportServices to disable ground services entirely for your airstrip—the game freaks out and removes them altogether globally.

Thanks! I learned about that issue recently, but had forgotten to remove it from this addon. I'll try to get an update out today. Thanks again.

Nice and simple, thanks.

Thanks! It is a really simple desert area, but I added the fencing and windsock, plus a lot of planes and tents to show a typical "fly-in".
