Lufttranportgeschwader LTG 61 Landsberg/Lech (Germany).

Homebase: Landsberg/Lech (ICAO Code ETSA)

This painting of the Bell UH-1D of the German Air Force was completely in the color RAL 6014 (gelbolive)
until the beginning of the 1980s and was later provided with a comouflage design.

This helicopter is a special livery for the 30th anniversary of the LTG 61 (Air Transport Squadron)
at the LTG 61 open day on September 20th, 1987.

This helicopter was also used with the same special livery for the 30th anniversary of the LTG 62;
only the squadron crest on the pilot's door was changed.

Identifiers during the operating time at the German Air Force :
Serial-Nr. 8216.      Code:  71+56      operated by:    HTG 64 -->  HFSLw --> LTG 61  -->  w/o 05.12.1994 Mannheim.

Comments which must be noted:

1.  This repaint is freeware and may not be used for commercial purposes.

2.  The two bulges on the nose of the cockpit, whatever they are for, which is unintentional but probably model related.

3.  The cooling fins of the rotor head area are vertical on the Original Bell UH-1D; arranged horizontally instead of
      horizontally as in this model.
