Yembi Yembi Airstrip (AKA Yambi Yambi) is located in a loop of the Salumei River. The village it serves is located on the opposite bank of the river.
The original scenery was based on pre-2017 images and videos. Since 2017 new buildings and shelters have been constructed including a school. The version 2 update is based on 2021 videos and includes Custom Buildings on the airstrip and new Generic buildings in the surroundings. The vegetation has also been moved and scaled to better represent the current location.
The Runway 07/25 is a good length, about 2340 ft long and flat. Operations can be performed at either end but the normal landing is 25

very nice! and easy for landing, but not easy for stoped in raining, when grass is wet😉

I've just tried landing in torrential rain with both the Kodiak and the Caravan and they both stopped in about a third of the runway. Are you using reverse thrust/beta to brake?

Just after uploading this strip constructed from old photos and Bing Maps, Missionary Bush Pilot uploaded a new video of a flight here. There has been some changes to buildings, vegetation, parking area and windsock. An updated version will be uploaded when I get a few hours to spare.

Hello donalexander71!
Thanks for creating this beautifull PNG airstrip. Downloaded it at once!
By the way, are you aware of the freeware objectlibrary Windy Things, right here at flightsim.to?
The YouTube link might be wrong; I could not get anything with it.
Greetings
